007 First Light’26

007 First Light is one of my favorite games of the year. It's seriously so good

So overall with a final score on this, honestly for me, this this would be either a nine or a 10. This was this is fantastic. I mean, I know a lot of people are saying that this has game of the year potential. I think it could end up being up there.

I just got to say I was I was super impressed by this game. It not only fulfilled every need that I wanted from it, every want that I wanted from it, but it left me wanting a lot more and I can safely say that IO has knocked it out of the park.

this seems like a really bloody good use of IO Interactives talents... the heart of this game is absolutely the Hitman DNA that runs through it, it's very much its own thing, too

007 First Light is not a bad game, but it is resolutely standard. And as such, the game's premise, as compelling a concept as 007 tackled by the Hitman people is, will always leave me wondering what could have been.

007 First Light is a really fun stealth sort of espionage action adventure that does a lot of great stuff with of course the 007 franchise but also a lot of IO Interactive's past work with Hitman and the like and it creates a pretty great experience overall if you're willing to lean into it.

it was a lot better than I thought it was, honestly. like I expected the game to be kind of uh you know um just kind of like bad, but it actually played really well. It played way better than I thought it would. It's actually good.

I just felt like I was playing slop that was holding me hand all the way through with cringy writing, smartass quips every 10 seconds. I can't understand why people love it. It's not a good game.

the best Bond game we've ever had, at least since Nightfire back in 2002... what IO Interactive have done here is an absolutely stellar job

For Bond fans, this is an absolute must must play

IO didn't get every part of this package right, but I think they nailed the most important part: putting you in the shoes of this newly minted 00 agent and letting you live out another thrilling Bond adventure. Personally, as a sucker for Bond, I really enjoyed it. And whether you grab it day one or much later, I do recommend it.

If anything can get us out of 14 years of James Bond purgatory, it's IO Interactive, finally dropping what looks to be a god damn James Bond game that might be worth a damn.
