Privacy Policy

This page explains what data we collect when you visit StreamerTakes ("the site"), why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. The site is a static, source-linked archive of public game commentary — we do not run user accounts and we do not accept user-generated content.

1. Who we are

The site is operated by StreamerTakes ("we", "us"). You can contact us at contact@example.com for any privacy question, including data subject requests.

2. What we collect

3. Legal basis (EEA / UK visitors)

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The site itself does not set any tracking cookies. Consent is collected by Google Funding Choices — a Google-operated, IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) registered Consent Management Platform. Third-party scripts may set cookies only after you accept:

You can revisit your choice any time on the Settings page, which reopens the Google Funding Choices dialog. You can also clear all cookies via your browser settings.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. The following processors receive data on our behalf when relevant:

Some of these processors operate outside the European Economic Area. They rely on the relevant EU/UK transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international data transfers.

6. Retention

Server access logs are retained for up to 90 days. Google Analytics retains user-level and event-level data for the period configured in the GA property (default: 14 months). Advertising cookies expire based on Google's defaults. Your consent preference persists in your browser until you clear it.

7. Your rights

If you are in the EEA, UK, or a jurisdiction with similar rights, you can:

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@example.com.

8. Children

The site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes that affect cookie usage will trigger a renewed consent prompt.
