Fallout: New Vegas is an open-world action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic Mojave Wasteland, where the player navigates factional conflicts over control of Hoover Dam and the neon-lit New Vegas strip. The game features extensive dialogue, branching questlines, and a karma and reputation system across a large map encompassing the Las Vegas ruins and surrounding desert.
The essentials, the fundamentals are still phenomenal — the writing, the characters, the world building, the core gameplay mechanics, the questing, everything is that good that even with all that clunkiness, it's still very, very, very good.
new vegas has a story worth overlooking basically everything that is wrong with this game
it just feels better as a result
Fallout New Vegas is a fantastic experience and is in my opinion the best modern Fallout title hands-down
There is a good game here if you've got the patience to give it a chance.
