I didn't hate it, in all honesty. I came into a card game expecting to hate it because I am incredibly biased against card games. But, if you can manage to mash up like Disco Elysium, Sunless Seas, maybe a little bit of Sid Meier's Pirates in there, I don't mind the card bay.
