The Consensus: Is It Worth Playing?

The Thing: Remastered is a faithful restoration of the 2002 third-person survival horror shooter originally developed by Computer Artworks, set in the aftermath of John Carpenter's 1982 film and following U.S. Army Special Forces Captain Blake investigating an Antarctic research station overrun by a shape-shifting alien. The remaster by Nightdive Studios updates the visuals and technical aspects while preserving the original trust-based squad mechanics and squad-management gameplay.

The thing remastered really is one of the more interesting titles the Night Dive have done... I reckon they've managed to achieve that and if all this does is make people finally realize just how stupid the original crappy review was then even better.
