it's a shame it doesn't run better because outside of these complaints about performance, they would have just completely knocked this out of the park.

So for me that's an obvious buy with really the only caveat to that being that I would do some investigation on your system specs.

it really does feel like they managed to thread an impossibly small needle here. The fact that this looks so much better, has all these improved systems, but still feels like oblivion is really the most remarkable thing about it to me.

Despite everything I've said, I like this remaster. I like it not because of the bugs, but in spite of them... Oblivion moved up to B tier.

The combat gameplay loop has really just not aged that well... I think it was still worth uh still worth visiting, even if it was kind of a speedrun at the end.

This game's really good. Like I I again like I was immediately sold on this game being peak about 15 seconds into the into the cinematic for the beginning of the game.

this game's been really fun to play. Uh I I didn't expect it to be as good as it is. Uh I thought it would just be kind of like kind of basically just right? But it was actually pretty fun and uh I've enjoyed it a good amount. Uh I I I do I like it a lot.

Despite the game looking like pretty nice for a remaster or a remake, I don't really think it's for me. Like the gameplay, it's not super interesting to me. It seems really rudimentary, which I was expecting to be fair cuz it is an old game.

I don't think it's worth £50... I think it's a disgrace that you get a game 19 years old that pretty much all of us have played the hell out of and then you charge us another £50 for it.

this is probably pretty much the best version of this that could possibly exist... you just take Oblivion as it ever was, still wonderful, still a beautiful, incredible world to explore, and you just slap a new coat of paint on it.

I think it's doing exactly what they wanted it to do, to bring Oblivion to a new audience and to give people who played it back in the day that sort of nostalgic fix that they were hoping to get. And I think they achieved that very thing. You know, it's clunky, it's weird, it still plays kind of strangely at times, and it's got some quirks.
