The Consensus: Is It Worth Playing?

Stranglehold is a third-person action shooter co-developed by Midway Studios Chicago and John Woo's Tiger Hill Entertainment, serving as a sequel to the 1992 film Hard Boiled with Chow Yun-Fat reprising Inspector Tequila. The game features Tequila Time slow-motion mechanics and destructible environments across Hong Kong and Chicago settings.

It is one of those games that I find myself reinstalling at least a couple of times a year then just blasting through it in a few sessions. Stranglehold still lives on as a great example of that bygone era where AAA games used to be fun.
