Nuclear Throne is a post-apocalyptic top-down roguelike shooter by Vlambeer in which mutants fight through bullet-hell wastelands, collecting radiation to unlock mutations and abilities across 12 playable characters. The game entered Steam Early Access in 2013 and fully released in December 2015.

It kind of takes the roguelike and really boils it down to its focused essence. Like, runs can literally last 2 minutes straight on to the next one. If you just want to sit down and blast some stuff for a ludicrous five minutes, this is the perfect game. So yeah, I like this. Well worth a loopy.
