Like a six. I would I would put it at a six. I would rate the game a six, but that's coming as a person who doesn't like extraction shooters. You see what I'm saying? So like it could be a seven. Could be six or seven.
Marathon is missing a hook. It was missing a thing to make it really stand out from other extraction shooters... I don't think Bungie has found that thing yet.
there's something missing at the core of Marathon. And until it's slotted into place, I don't think this game is going to find the audience it's chasing.
But if I had to say like right now 40 bucks do you buy the game or not at launch? I'm probably at this point at a wait.
Did you have fun and would you play again? And for me, the answer is an unequivocal yes. I had a good time. There are definitely things I would change... but it's an alpha play test.
the game is free so absolutely worth giving a try at that cost even with the low points the sum of its parts come together to make a memorable game
