The Consensus: Is It Worth Playing?

Expedition: Into Darkness is a medieval cooperative dungeon-crawler and extraction looter for up to five players in which teams descend into procedurally generated ruins, assemble modular weapons, and must escape alive or lose their characters and gear permanently. The game is developed by Antediluvian Interactive and is targeting a 2026 PC release.

It's janky. It's wonky. It's like hammered together with duct tape and bubble gum. But dude, I want this game to exist so badly.

I liked it, dude. Expeditions into the dark if you're looking for dark and darker but with a PvE focus where the dungeon is very very deadly and the monsters will scuff you up pretty good if you let them.
